New Families

We know you have many choices of dance schools. Here's what your dance experience will look like if you choose to register at DMSOD.

We will place students where they can succeed and gain confidence, they are not always placed by age.

You can choose your path. We believe in a strong foundation based in ballet, and ballet is required for pre-pointe, lyrical, contemporary and first two years of jazz.

For students who are looking for less of a time commitment, we offer theater, acro, tap and hip hop, those subjects do not require a ballet class.

We do limited competition, but we do not separate our classes by competitive and not competitive. We train all students equally, but provide pull out groups for advancement.

Our performance opportunities are, our year end show for everyone, and limited competition, community and benefit performances for groups who are ready for extra stage time.

We have done this for 42 successful years!

Our 4000 sq feet building has 3 dance rooms, sprung floors, barres, mirrors, central air, heat, a main floor waiting room, student lounge with microwave and fridge, ample private parking, and easy drop-off/pick up. It is cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.
